Condition Guide

Every pre-owned shirt at Hercules Sports is checked by hand and given a grade out of 10 using the Hercules Grading Scale. The grade is shown in the title and description of each listing, and any flaws are described and shown in the photos.

Hercules Grading Scale

Grade	Label	What it means
10/10	New	Unworn, with or without tags. No flaws.
9/10	Mint	Looks unworn. No visible marks, pulls or wear to badges or print.
8/10	Excellent	Light signs of wear on close inspection, such as slight fabric pilling. Badges and print fully intact.
7/10	Very Good	Visible light wear such as minor pilling, faint marks or slight fading. Nothing that stands out when worn.
6/10	Good	Noticeable wear: pilling, small marks, or light cracking or peeling at the edges of the print.
5/10	Fair	Clearly used, with several flaws such as obvious print cracking, small pulls or a faded badge.
1–4/10	Well Worn	Heavy wear or damage such as peeling or missing print, holes, stains or a damaged badge. Every flaw is described and photographed.
